Location
The Kanha National Park lies 160 Kms southeast of Jabalpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. kanha is 270 Kms Northeast of the city of Nagpur. The Mapple Tiger Retreat is on the Banjar river closer to Kisli Gate.
Flora And Fauna
Kanha's sal and bamboo forests, rolling grasslands and meandering streams stretch over 940 sq kms in dramatic natural splendor. Kanha also has some 200 species of birds which include storks, teals, pintails, pond gerons, egrets, peacock etc.
